Become a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator with our Training Classes
Join us and work hands on with injured/orphaned wildlife in our area.
WWI offers training and support for individuals looking to become licensed rehabilitators and work to give injured wildlife another chance. WWI can help provide you with the knowledge needed to care for these animals and a network of friends that love wildlife as much as you.
To obtain a Wildlife Rehabilitation license in the state of North Carolina you are required to have a mentor for at least a year working under an apprentice license from the NC Wildlife Resource Commission. Must be 18 to obtain a license.
Want to Know More?
Do you want to know if rehabbing would be right for you? Read our “What to Expect” document here. If you have additional questions, you can use the “contact us” form on the page linked below.
Looking for other ways to help?
We need non-rehabber volunteers, items for the animals and donations.
