Unfortunately, chipmunks are often caught by cats. Antibiotics to fight infections from cats are needed for this animal to survive. Call a rehabber immediately.

Be careful picking up this little creature…they will bite when frightened. Use a towel to pick them up or heavy gloves. Place in a well ventilated box that is escape proof. Then follow the basic instructions for supplemental heat on the former page…under Injured And Orphaned Wildlife.
